Ours

The feeling was unmistakeable; it was the warmth and security of being wrapped up in your favorite blanket.  It was the freedom of driving with the windows down and radio blasting on that first perfect day of summer.  And it was the incredible joy of knowing that all of life’s twists and turns have led you to exactly where you were supposed to be.

This Saturday, Amber + Eric exchanged vows.  All at once, with those promises of forever, there was a rush of love’s warmth, commitment’s freedom, and life’s pure joy.  Here now is a sneak peek of a perfect Saturday where a perfect love radiated for all to see.

Amber + Eric: Engaged

You could find them exchanging glances in between each scoop.  He would serve up a healthy-sized Mint Chocolate Chip cone as she put the finishing touches on the perfect Gold Medal Ribbon sundae.  Her constant smile and laughter made the hours they spent on-the-clock even better. His incredible heart and grin made her anticipate the next time their names would share the schedule together.

So, amid the scoops and the cones, the chocolate and the caramel, Amber + Eric’s love began to grow.  The years and the miles they’ve spent together have proven that the things they first noticed about each other are true.  And tomorrow, Amber + Eric will promise forever and make life even sweeter than it already is.

We met up with these two a while back for an engagement session hat celebrates doing the things they love to do the most: fishing, eating ice cream, and simply spending time together.    We are so excited to share with you this little segment of their oh-so-yummy love.

We are crazy excited to celebrate with the both of you tomorrow!  We know the day will be just as sweet and as lovely as the two of you.

Wanted

It’s hard to describe, really.  There was a boy in black and a girl in white.  A cake, some flowers, and a dance to celebrate.  I suppose some would say it was ordinary.  But for me, ordinary doesn’t do it justice.

Because when you look in between, things are different.  You find a that boy in black so madly in love with that girl in white that the whole room resonates with an unseen energy when they smile at one another.  You find two individuals so beloved by their friends and family that when they circled around to watch that boy and girl dance together, every soul knew that they were wanted there in that time and in that place.

No, for me, ordinary doesn’t cut it.  Exceptional and extraordinary are the only words that fit.

This weekend Angie + Heath said “I do.”  Here is a sneak peek from their oh so beautiful day.
