Real Love

We talk a lot about love.  The rush that comes with saying “I do.” The security of knowing you have someone there for life’s ups and downs.  The thought of growing old together and one day sitting outside in rocking chairs sipping iced teas. The dreams of your future seeming so much closer to coming true.

The reality is that life–and love–are hard.  Little things can become big issues and hopes for the future can get lost amid a sea of grocery lists and laundry baskets.

But love, true love, NEVER fails.  It bears all things, believes all things, and hopes all things.  It may be cheesy, it may be cliché, but it is true.  And it is around this truth that Pete and I structure every facet of our lives and our business.

This weekend we celebrated love in a slightly different way.  It is a project that we can’t fully reveal to you yet–but we wanted to at least give you this sneak peek into a weekend celebrating the real ever after and the journey to the rocking chair . . . together.
