This weekend, my sister Katie married Arcadio. I could tell you that she is an incredible woman that I grow to love more and more each day. I could tell you that she married a man who makes her laugh, makes her smile, and makes her happier than I’ve ever known her to be. I could tell you the tears running down his cheeks as he promised forever touched my heart more than he could ever know. And, I could tell you that their Cinco de Mayo wedding was a special way to join two individuals, two families, and two cultures into one.
I could tell you all that. But I could also show you.
Because I’m the incredibly blessed individual who not only got to stand up and support these two amazing people, but got to photograph the day as well.
