Today, we want to introduce you to Jennifer and Keith, a couple for whom Pete and I are particularly grateful. I have known Jennifer since I moved to Kansas six years ago. In fact, it was during a circumstantial evening out that I met her and some of the people that became my best friends. In short, that encounter kept me in Kansas.
Fast forward three years and two graduate degrees later, and Jennifer and I became roommates. She was the person to whom I sent a text first expressing my interest in a redheaded boy named Pete. She was there when I passed the bar exams. She was part of Pete’s covert proposal plan. When we eventually got married, she was there. And, right from the beginning, she has been one of Belltower’s biggest fans, directly contributing to our success by often watching Lucy and Farley when we are out shooting. Grateful and blessed does not begin to describe our friendship with Jennifer.
I take pride in saying that I was the first of Jennifer’s friends to meet Keith because, well, who else can you call when you’ve lock yourself out of your house on the first date with a guy who you’re pretty sure will be come your husband than the trusty old roommate with the spare key? Since then, we’ve come to know Keith as the yin to Jennifer’s yang. The solid rock to Jennifer’s outgoing personality. The living example of God’s love to Jennifer on earth.

Jennifer has always been a happy person. But her smile was never this big until Keith came around.

Keith and Jennifer are HUMUNGO football fans.(Yes, humungo.) So a little pigskin action was a necessary element to their engagement session.
My favorite moment of the day.
Jen, my dear, you are stunning.

Many of the moments between Keith and Jennifer are silly and goofy like the image above. But beneath those public moments of craziness lie true beauty and love.
When Jennifer and Keith met, he was living in Westport (and she in Lawrence). Their relationship grew and blossomed in this charming Kansas City neighborhood.

Pete’s favorite.

Jen and Keith will say “I do” in just three weeks, and we are so excited to be there to sing, celebrate, and record the memories from their day. Woo-hoo!
