We have facebook to thank for connecting, or reconnecting, us with Amy and Joe.
Amy and I graduated from high school together but lost touch in the years since. Enter facebook. Pete and I started telling the world about Belltower Photography (mostly via facebook) right about the time Joe asked Amy to be his wife. A couple of messages and wall posts later, we made our way out west to Colorado for Amy and Joe’s engagement session.

Amy and Joe live in Denver, and they often make their way into the mountains to enjoy all the different outdoor activities that the Rockies have to offer. They wanted that to be the focus of their engagement shoot, so we met up with the couple in the cozy little mountain town of Evergreen.

The fall leaves were just turning as we visited, adding some yummy golds and oranges to our color palate.
Amy and Joe were constantly laughing and enjoying each other’s company. They’re the kind of people that radiate fun – we have first-hand knowledge of their magical effect.

Um . . . did we mention that Evergreen is gorgeous? And that you should go there? We’ll definitely be back.

You will quickly learn that Pete and I are saps for sentimental moments. These images are some of our favorites from the day.

Amy and Joe actually visit Evergreen quite a bit to hear a band from Amy’s home state of Iowa (The Nadas, for all you Hawkeyes out there) when they come to town. This place has a lot of character, which made our job all the more enjoyable.

After a morning in Evergreen, we made our way back to Denver to spend some time with Amy and Joe in the city where they met and spend most of their time.

Amy and Joe- we had a ton of fun getting to (re)connect with you. We can’t wait for your wedding next summer back out in Denver! Facebook us soon!

We really like comments . . . please leave us yours!
